PDX outside the BOX

So I was pulling out of the Fred Meyer parking lot near me and spotted a sign at the Tualatin Hills recreation center.

Said sign was advertising, “Concerts in the Park”. June, July & August….well, June is all but completely said and done, so onto the other two months….

There are a line-up of shows through out the summer of all kinds of music, ranging from folk to indie rock and Caribbean salsa to rockabilly and blues to bluegrass. Sounds like a lot of fun to come and admission is fee! How can you beat free? Lol

The shows are not all at one location either, they are at a wide variety of parks around the Portland area, so if you don’t wanna drive from north east to Beaverton or vice versa…check out the shows closer to you.

In other music news…Not related to Portland directly, my favorite band, Hinder, has a brand spankin’ new full length album coming out November 4^th, and you should all check them out if you haven’t ever heard of them…however I think at this point if you haven’t heard of Hinder, you’ve been living under a rock!

Also, Hinder is out and about on tour, as always…I think they must have recorded the new album from the road…because these guys don’t stop! And we want them to come here to Portland, I saw them while I was in Kentucky, and let me tell you, they give it their all and they put on a show…so lets get Hinder to Portland…demand it!!!
